THE EXHIBITION
A conversation
across time.
From prehistory to the present, architecture in Greece unfolds through works, places and ideas that meet across centuries.
The exhibition brings together architecture as art, science, cultural expression and a record of history. Its starting point is Dimitris Pikionis’s thinking on the mysterious language of form and the relationship between form, tradition and historical time.

Architectural drawings, sketches and models bring ideas, proportions and the making of spaces into view.

Images & moving image
Photography, film excerpts and audiovisual material offer different ways of reading buildings and places.

Art & the written record
Works of art, books and journals connect architecture with other arts and with the ideas of its time.
